For years I have been referring to the Garda Ombudsman as a “paint job.” I have done so out of my extensive experience of them, with regard to the various individuals, activists and organisations I have worked with. I have seen complaints accompanied by incontrovertible evidence of garda criminality result in garda vindication and vilification for those who dared to complain.

It’s the word on everyone’s lips. Revolution. 2011 is the year of revolution. Tunisia, Egypt, Greece, Spain. Where next? Will it be Ireland? Or do we need to be shafted even further? What other form of shafting is there left? It looks like the list of possible shafts has been exhausted already. It looks like a return to Primae Noctis would not make us get off our backsides and revolt. Is there something in the water making us docile and stupid?

The people of this country are a mighty patient and compliant lot. The last FF lead government took Ireland from being an apparently prosperous country; to what we have today, a country where fear of unemployment, emigration and a growing sense of hopelessness is the now the norm for most people. Of course during [...]

Independent Journalist “Madam K” was stopped at a newly erected police barrier in Dublin today during the visit of the German/pseudo-English Queen Saxe-Coburg-Gotha/Wettin. We are Change lost any shred of confidence in the Democratic system long ago. We are supporting the national campaign of SPOIL THE VOTE and we urge all those who don’t trust the game to write their own message across the ballot or simply write NO CONFIDENCE. The number of people that have agreed to do this in this country is unprecedented. Let it go down in Irish history that we did not sit idly by and vote in another crowd of criminals and puppets of the Banking Elite.

..I had no illusions of what a petitions committee is…. it is a symptom of lack of democracy. In a true republic with working democracy, citizens don’t need a complaints forum because they have real power. They keep their reps on a short tether and their reps serve them. Citizens do this in many ways, most obvious is the ballot, but also through marches, lobbying, boycotts, organisations, etc. Citizens speak and reps have to listen… It is a sign of the extent of the shift in power when citizens must go hat in hand to a committee of reps to complain, so that they the reps can in turn complain to those who actually have power.

We must stop giving away our power, and stay relying upon ourselves again! Voting only encourages them!

Should we still believe that these experts will save us? Have you noticed that the cash injections into banks, that they prescribed, have only hastened the disease? How can borrowing even more, be a remedy for crippling debt? Isn’t it high time that we get out of these beds, find out for ourselves what is making us ill and discover truly effective cures?

Reality Blogger If I were part of a very small group of elite individuals and families from around the world whom together held 90% of the entire world’s wealth along with the power to print its money and manipulate the value of that money, and I wanted to keep it that way for myself and [...]

Politicians will not solve anything, they are not trained in it. They don’t actually know how to look [...]

We have a lot of plans for this website over the next year but the server costs are due this month and the Google ads on the site have not covered the cost. Please donate whatever you think we are worth, this site is a lot of work and we run it a loss, not for our benefit but in the name of freedom. €10 would make a huge difference, or if you can't afford it, please share this link so others can donate.
